It might look a bit more oriented if you rotate 180 degrees so the spider is diagnoally coming towards the viewer.

I think you might be getting huntsman confused with daddy long legs. Daddy long legs prey on redbacks. Huntsman pretty much just eat insects. White-tail spiders prey on redbacks, as well as black house spiders and daddy long legs.
