Re: Feeling a bit dusty this morningDavid, It would seem, even with a dust storm, the best colors are in the morning!
Nice second; apart from the color, it could have been a misty morning....
Re: Feeling a bit dusty this morningNumber two for me. This looks like Warrawee station!

I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.
Re: Feeling a bit dusty this morningThanks for the comments guys - the second is my favourite as well. It was surprisingly similar to fog/mist at that point.

Re: Feeling a bit dusty this morningGreat shots, David.
The colour of the light on Wednesday morning really drove home to me how poor our eyes are at judging the colour of light. Or more correctly, how our brains make allowances for the colour of the light. I was up at 6am for a conference call and at that time it was really orange out there. After looking outside for a minute or two, the internal lights of the house looked so much more "white" than they usually do, simply because my brain had adjusted to the orange of the outside light. Sort of like my brain had adjusted the white balance.
Re: Feeling a bit dusty this morningGreat shots of something I don't think we will ever see again. Well done.
EOS 5D MkII, 70-200mm f/2.8LIS, 24-70mm f/2.8LIS, 50mm f/1.2, 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 IS, 580EX II
Re: Feeling a bit dusty this morning
I know what you mean - After taking the first shot (I was outside for a couple of minutes) I looked at my mobile phone and the screen was a totally different colour. It looked blue. Then at the station, the lights looked much more white than they usually do. 7D, 60D, 70-200mm f/4LIS, 17-50mm f/2.8, 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, 50mm f/1.4, 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 580EX II
