I have recently noted that Emirates have picked themselves up one of these spanky A380's and are flying outta sydney most mornings - check out their first class! !
This is the closest I'll ever get to travelling in first class on emirates!

Ha, there you go thinking I was talking about the sony,

I flew on this baby in May, between Dubai and Sydney. It's lovely inside (brand spanking new) and as you would expect, quite roomy - the cabin seemed especially high and wide. The other thing I noticed is that it was appreciably quieter than other jets I've flown in, the constant noise of the air and engines being much more in the background.
And talk about big - I actually lost my seat after going for a stroll along the aisles! Unfortunately I didn't get to the upstairs pool or shopping mall - maybe next time  Frank My photo gallery: http://www.frankalvaro.net

Gerry, These look like first class shots.
I assume these are not crops? Also, did you use AWB? The second is warmer on my monitor. [Before Gary makes a comment about it]

These are great photos. If one flew low over my house today in Coffs Harbour, I wouldn't have seen it for the dust!

without a doubt! These tend to be quieter than the 747's on takeoff, which is pretty darn good in my opinion.
This is the uncropped version, only a very slight crop to get the subject in the centre of the frame, typically from my joint I have to zoom out a bit to not chop off the wings  AWB, correct, yes that second one is a bit on the warmer/more exposed side I think.

Better beamer anyone?? no seriously, could you use one speedlite to fill flash this plane providing Gerry used a shutter below 250th?
