Re: TricolorInteresting composition, posture and colour.
Re: TricolorI think it's terrific. The drab sandstone background really makes the bright colours stand out beautifully.

Re: Tricolorwoah, thats not your typical uni outfit...at least not when i was there (SE quad corner?)
was this done for a specific purpose, ie fashion etc? Whilst the light is coming from the left on all three poses and would appear technically correct my brain's first thought was photochop job, whereas the first thought should have been 'nioce', maybe its just the fact that there is quite a bit of light on the right hand pose coming from the right, probably sunlight... anyway i am the least qualified to give advice in this area so feel free to ignore... gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: TricolorSW corner I think... mostly just for fun SB-800 from left of each pose thru shoot-thru umbrella. Of course a little bit of photoshop was used... I don't think I could cope with 3 of Kim Maybe, although the sky was quite overcast when we took these... Thanks to other people for their comments too Cheers, John

Re: Tricolor
It took a second look for me to appreciate the colours and how vibrant they look against the chosen backdrop... gerry's photography journey

Re: TricolorInteresting image there John. I have to admit that I have been meaning to do more work around campus, I simply love using the available light in that area. You have created great contrast and have used that stonework to really bring out the dresses. There isnt much else for me to add as most of my thoughts have already been mentioned by others.
Great work, as always. PS care to let me know next time you are shooting, I would love to watch you in action. Cameron

Re: TricolorYes... it's a great location Cameron... I'll definitely be going back
I generally try to avoid spectators , but if you want to assist as a carbon based light stand on an upcoming shoot, then you're more than welcome... I have shoots pretty much every weekend coming up, so let me know when you're free. I'll need to clear it with the model though... Some of them are more nervous than me Cheers, John

Re: Tricolor
Would love to observe and learn...and I if the cost of this is being a carbon light stand then I am willing. As for when I am free? Sundays are better than Saturdays, but I def cant do the next two Sundays (sunrise shoot in the blueies + camera market, 7 bridges walk). I'll PM you my contact details... Cameron
