Sea Cliff Meet - My takeYou are probably all "sea cliffed" out by this stage but here's my take on the day's activities.
Thanks once again to Peter for arranging this. Nice to catch up with a few familiar faces and some new ones as well Think that's sevencolours crossong the bridge Point of no return!! ..Yee Hah Two for the price of one - $189 for a tandem From the top of the hill Rest can be seen here http://www.flickr.com/photos/ray_jennin ... 30/detail/
Re: Sea Cliff Meet - My takeoh, I like that final image, that is something i was striving for, an image that shows the scenery but alo captures teh essence of what goes on there - nutters hanging onto aluminium and fabric...You have also nailed that small amount of blue sky that was present ! well done.
Lookign at your flickr set, _DSC7492 stands out for me, the framing of the shot with the foliage really works.. Good to meet you on the day also Ray. Edit* bloody bargin...imagine the public liability insurance cost they have... gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Sea Cliff Meet - My takeI'm with Gerry, that last image works really well...now to add a few more hang gliders into the image!

Re: Sea Cliff Meet - My takeReally like the last. It's the one image that captures the essence as well as have layers of interest.
In the second photo it looks like the guy has four legs! It took me a while to realise it's a tandem! Nevertheless, this is one of my favourite glider shots from the day. If you look closely at #3, it looks really uncomfortable.
Re: Sea Cliff Meet - My takeThanks for looking and your comments
Yeah ...like that one as well Your sunrise shots make me wish I'd followed the track to the other side Would have liked to have had the gliders a little closer in the last or, as Aim54X suggested, more of them... but its a bit of pot luck getting all the components in sync.
From memory its a single guy. His legs are a blurred due to the movement.
Have to agree with you there. That gig doesnt appeal to me at all Ray
Re: Sea Cliff Meet - My takeNos 2 & 4 are the stand-outs for me. In #2 you've caught something unusual ....his pose almost looks like that of a classical vintage tin toy. There's just something about it that appeals to me. The last shot has all the essential elements...subject in an environment...all beautifully composed and captured. nice!
Regards

Re: Sea Cliff Meet - My takeThe last one is lovely and iconic of the day and the location. Much nice.
