Oh my ain't she a heavy thing. Well there was sod all to shoot at 7.45pm in my garden. All the birds were chirping away but doing a very good job not to be seen. And the one that I did have a clear shot of didn't have much light falling on him so he was like a silouette. Anyway I ended up shooting my mums snail plant. Turned out pretty good I think
Btw, my teleconvertor wasn't used for this shot.

Now it's time for you to find the way to replace the lens foot (LCF10) and sneak in a G1325, a BH55-Pro, L plate for the D70, more works to do

Order 'RRS - BH-55 Pro' today as 6-8 weeks availability. So order Gitzo G1325 seven weeks from today, and all should arrive around the same time. A decision needs to be made today or tomorrow. Timing is everything, as you well know from your experience with the 70-200VR saga.

Just remember, you only live once.

The Markins can be ordered anytime and it's cheaper than the Bh-55 Pro, but please don't regret!

I guess I could always buy Markin M-20, use it and then sell it straight away and hope for little loss on it. Then order the BH55PRO once sold.

I'm curious to know why that 800px wide image is over 300 kB in size. JPEG quality setting perhaps?
There's not much point in resizing to 800x533 if you're going to use 100% JPEG quality. It's not as if it's going to be printed.

Dumped them staight to JPEG from NC. Didn't even see a quality setting while doing so. Must of missed it.
