To most a very good reason to stay at home. I really like all the shots, as the rain adds another dimension. Well done. fozzie

Re: For those of you who stayed in todayMatt, the first one is awaiting a good BW conversion for it to become timeless!
Re: For those of you who stayed in todaySo what was the outcome Matt.....is the D300 waterproof?
I too was in the city and was surprised by the number of people wandering the streets. I took refuge in the Uproar House open day which was the first time I was able to take shots inside the building.
Re: For those of you who stayed in todayI would kill for rain !!!!!
Lucky buggers ! Love the first one - beautiful use of 'empty' space to give the shot more depth and meaning !!! Hugs Rel Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams

Great day for a picnic! *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Re: For those of you who stayed in todayI'm drawn to #4 for some reason, maybe it's the overall color, maybe the strength of the rain , maybe the church - not sure why but i do like it.
Thanks for reminding me there are more than suuny days to give great shots Deb DebT

Re: For those of you who stayed in todayI really like the first image with the old woman and the taxi. There seems to be a story waiting to happen there.
You certainly got a lot of rain up north. We just had drizzle. Steve.

Re: For those of you who stayed in todayI could have sworn I had posted a comment on this thread yesterday.
Great images there Matt K. I love the first, as a colour image, makes you realise how drab it all is, the purple of the Jacaranda would be a huge loss if it was to be processed to B&W. Great to see someone shooting in the wet. Cameron
