POTW - 28th October, 2009

After a great deal of deliberation, I have selected this shot from Matt. K...congratulations.

Image

This appealed to me on several levels:

The photographer going out on day like this, now that is dedication.

And the rain gives us a great muted colours, adding to the overall scene.

Good choice fozzie...

congrats Matt... I missed this one the first time around. excellent shot. love how the jacarandas bring out a little bit of contrast with the red lights and signage.

wonder why he/she is just starting to cross the road when the little pedestrian signal is red?

I must admit, it is a great capture. The lonely elderly with the walker in the rain the jacanda in flower and the red banner commanding attention. It has a lot in it that it is appealing. Congratulations.
