Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Differet take on the boathouse

Almost finished processing all the shots from my quick pop over to Tassie. Still not sure on this one. This is how I framed it in camera, but I'm still trying to sell myself on the shot. I like that it's different, but something just doesn't feel 'right' to me. Not sure... perhaps it is squashed in the frame, or too noisy.... C&C definitely appreciated.

Great composiiton on this image in my opinion, great depth of size and perspective   . The colours look at bit over cooked at my end..

:agree: with Gerry.

It looks great with a n unusual compressed view. Even the haze seems to work however you could try and remove it to see whether it will make a difference.

The colours seem ok at my end. [uncalibrated dell ultrasharp]

The colours dont look right here on my end (non-calibrated monitor though) but I think what your missing is a central focal point. There is a lot of depth but not much to draw the eye.
