The Hunt for Lilac October (2009)Been travelling around Sydney capturing the beauty of the jacarandas which are currently in bloom.
Here is a selection of some of the locations; McDougall Street Kirrabilli Uproar House Sydney skyline from the Gladesville Bridge Sydney University
Re: The Hunt for Lilac October (2009)The Jacarandas in flower are quite a spectacle...I have been meaning to snap off a few as well...maybe on a weekend soon. I really like the perspective in the last one, something original for a tree photographed so often.

I may be off the mark but i wonder if cloning out that rather distracting mast in the bottom left hand corner whelp that image achieve its potential? Just a thought! cheers marco
Re: The Hunt for Lilac October (2009)Ray
These are superb #2 and #4 are the standouts for me - especially #2 since it's so hard to get a new take on the SOH. Peter
