I like this shot because the shooter has tried to re create a scene and has placed his own style on it. The interplay between the fork and its shadow is fantastic. Hopefully this will inspire others to get out there and have a go at something so simple yet so effective.

Great choice Tony & well done Zafra, Nice to see something we can all try and perhaps with patience and practice actually achieve - if only we had been creative enough to think of it great to see it as POW as I missed the origional thread DebT

An interesting choice, I really liked the shadows and the contrast in this image. i would also like to see the inspiration.

You've done well. But the original does look like it has more tonal range with the grey's rather than the harsh whites.

The original also has more dust bunnies than the homage. It also has a more interesting use of DOF. Thanks for the link Greg.
