A few flowers

Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Lovely shots Matt, in particular, #2 and #3. In the first shot it would have been nice to have some detail in the middle of the flower IMO :D

Hey rokkstar, these are jolly good! The sunflower is a very original take on a well trodden path. The two dahlia shots are illuminated perfectly. I prefer the third one by itself but the two make a beautiful bookend pair. I'm very glad I kept trawling to find these shots, thanks for showing them off.

Cheers, :)

No I bought them for my girlfriend the other day and they were on a vase on the table. I saw some light on the balcony and almost tripped over myself trying to get it outside before it went.

Third is the best. I think the transition in colors is what does it.
