Some great captures here! Love how sharp they are and you clearly have great timing with the shutter to capture just the right moments.

Nice captures and easily sellable! You must have been monopodding from the sidelines with the 500mm.

They are all good but the first one is a cracker and tells the story.

you have got the 400 & TC combo working beautifully.

for me the first in each post is the best - love the "look out ..its behind you" pic and the clean bowled iwth fielder nicely bokehed (is that a word) - excellent composition and alluring!

my lads cricket has now finished after a grand total of 2 days play out of possible 6 - rain, heat, rain, rain, rain....must be global warming or the GFC?

Really enjoy your work Kiwi! and belated congrats on beating pakistan in a thriller!
cheers

R2 BTW I have the 1.7 TC that I'm yet to nail in combo with 300 2.8. ..(Would probably swap for similar exc. condition 1.4 TC if someone here wanted to)

For me, there is nothing more to say in picture 1. It says it all with the kid in the background and the bail flying.

A great series to look at. Well done.

Wonderful images, just superb. Extreme images these, great colour, emotion and story.

(The only thing that irritates me is the corporate logo sponsorship on the kids shirts - it's sport, not business, but that's another story).

I sort of agree with you re the shirts. Sponsors are vital for club sport these days but I'd also prefer not to see their logos on cricket whites and youd have to wonder what value for that advertisement they actually get.

Still, I buy all my son's whites, and if having a logo on the sleeve meant that I did not have to, well, Id have to think hard about that.

It's getting pretty expensive for junior sport now. And I have 4 boys too

It certainly is. My two boys (and two girls) are now grown, but it heaps of fun when they were younger. My wife even had a stint as soccer coach...
