Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Right. So I get to pick through the ridiculous amount of quality images this week. That hardly seems fair given just how much brilliant work ya'll have put online this week. I mean, have you seen it all? I have. I just closed all the tabs in my browser trying to sort through all of it. There is some top stuff out there. Stuff like Pirostitch's monochromatic image, norbs's polaroid image at the end of his thread (oh yes, sometimes old school beats new school), ivision's Formula 3 black & white, and kiwi's third shot of kids playing cricket... to name but a few. None of those are my choice however. This one is though.   Nailed it on the lighting, composition, detail, and crop. Good work, Wendell. Original post here.
