Sail, Sail, Rocket! It's been quite a while since I had my 70-200VR lens out for a play. These are some from a ride on the ferry from Circular Quay to Parramatta.

Re: Sail, Sail, Rocket!I have to admit that my 70-200VR does not get much of a work out unless I take it to the zoo.
I do like the yacht images, but in #2 you have clipped off the top of the sail. glad to see some of your photos again Peter. Cameron

Re: Sail, Sail, Rocket! That first one is a pearler Peter, it all works for me, the boat heading towards teh viewer, the back drop - a very nice composition.
gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Sail, Sail, Rocket!I agree with you guys, my 70 - 200 hasn't seen the daylight for over a year now. I prefer the first and and third because of the croping of the sail on the second. Maybe you can crop the second even further and make it a tighter frame.
Re: Sail, Sail, Rocket!Peter these have your signature look to them.
Have you considered making the blues a little more prominent in the #1. I think this may change the mood somewhat if it's a nice day for a sail.
