Re: V8 Supercars - Friday Practicethanks mate.
no special techniques here, just a very special lens. you know what my dumb ass just figured out...if i dialled in -2EV i could then have dropped my shutter by 2 stops. that would have got me down to 1/250s which would have given me alot more motion. that woulda worked right ? Re: V8 Supercars - Friday PracticeNice.
These things aren't easy to capture at speed. Some relation to the movement would've made them perfect. Could probably blur it with PS.
Re: V8 Supercars - Friday PracticeWow..... that is a magical lens.
I really like the B&W conversion that you have done on the third image...and all that rubber just leads you into the iamge Cameron

Re: V8 Supercars - Friday PracticeChris,
The second of these images, for an image showing a champion, is just great. It shows a measure of distance between the winner and the next competitor, with great use of DoF as well. Colour and exposure is great too.
Too bad they don't travel at any great speed. g.

Re: V8 Supercars - Friday Practice

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: V8 Supercars - Friday PracticeI agree. The second and third images are the best of this set. It certaily looks a very nice lens.
