Carmen Electra

Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Typically, no more than about four images should be posted in any one post or thread, and the maximum size of any side of any image should not exceed 950 px.

Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Carmen Electra

Hi All,
I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and got a few snaps of Carmen Electra.

Image

The next two were a bit ordinary as the security man was (not sure if it was intentional or not) blocking my flash, and I wasn't shooting raw, yes normally I do...hehe

Well done! And you just happened to have your camera with you and you just happened to get all the settings right and you just happened to have the right focal length lens on the camera and you just happened to get perfect focus and you just happened to get supurb composition. What a fluke!

Well done mate, especially the first one is really sharp and looks like those stars pics in women's magazines... Who knows, maybe you can sell it to a paparazzi agency here in Sydney?!?

glorious shots - though I would fix the red eye in the first shot. Were you using the on board flash - or did the SB800 do this?

Cheers,

So much I miss about Sydney! :( I would kill to have been in the presence of Carmen Electra! She was awesome as the ditzy, bouncy, flirty MTV music video co-host dudette with Kurt Loader from what I remember of my mid-teens. ;)

Well done Geoff, great captures. I'm jealous! :)

My brother works at Luna Park in maintenance and building, just dropped in 5 mins ago and was telling me how 2 of his guys walked in on Carmen Electra changing, she didn't even blink, though they did  An even better story was the air conditioning went in the green room for the celebrities, one of the guys goes in to fix it. A guy from Simple Plan (a band), start abusing him (as if he broke it!), and then goes on to say "what are we, some sort of joke around here?". They guy looks him straight in the eye and says "Well, that is the word on the street around here". The so called 'star' was suitably unimpressed.

Why would you get a law suit - you took a photo of a celebrity in a public location - that's a newsworthy event in my book... Did your photos portray her in a bad way - absolutely not...

IMHO you can publish those photos on the web without any fear...

P.S. If you do get sued, the advice I offered was general in nature and could not possibly have taken your personal circumstances into account.

You wuss. Just keep em up :)

There is a paparazzi agency in Sydney, can't remember the name of them. However the owner is from Geelong and has agencies all over the world, I think he's based in London now. Watched a huge documentary on him in the UK.

Darryn Lyons is his name, and he owns Big Picture.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/tv/paparazzi.shtml

Seriously if there was nobody else about and you're the only one with the shot. Then you might get some money for it. Probably bugger all when you come to think about it, because it's only Carmen Electra. However if that'd been Becks and Posh or Mary and Frederick you might make a few quid.

Seriously if there was nobody else about and you're the only one with the shot. Then you might get some money for it. Probably bugger all when you come to think about it, because it's only Carmen Electra. However if that'd been Becks and Posh or Mary and Frederick you might make a few quid.

Those agency are sucks! they make good monies on your sweat and pay you as much as a peanut  .
The only way you can make good money for yourself is a freelance photogs and can freely sell your pics to anyone who offers you a decent dough.

  Geoff you are pure evil. You put them up for a quick taster and then pull them off so when the rest of us think we're going to see her we get the red X's. Please erase the entire thread so that every person who comes on here doesn't think they're going to get wicked candids of Carmen, then only read about how awesome they were. Granted, reading about them is pretty awesome, but seeing them may add another dimension, I wish I never came on here tonight. I wish I never new this site existed. I wish I was never born...okay omit the last one as well as the middle one. The rest of my statement stands though.
Edit: I just checked, there are NO pics of Carmen Electra on the internet. Double crap!!!
