Re: eye contactThere's nothing cuter (for me) than to see furry animals looking gorgeous. Great examples.

Re: eye contactGreat shots, Deb.
I think the owl best suits the thread title of "eye contact", but all shots are good. I really like the red panda.

you guys have a great zoo - had an absolute ball there - can't wait to see the shots from your day out at the zoo on the 24th !!! Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams

Re: eye contactI'm going to be different and say that the first is my pick.. although they are all excellent shots the first wins for me on its cuteness appeal..
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: eye contactGood work here Deb. Especially as they are captive animals, I would choose the owl too as the standout from this collection, maybe selective darkeining of the b/g would help focus the attention to the bird more.

Re: eye contact
wot? no pandas and tigers.. on a side note, they did some billboards up here in syd with something to the following effect - ' its a nice bridge, but we got pandas' I quite like all the images but could not name any of them off the top of my head the first one is a winner in my mind for the posture and facial expresion, very cute... gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
