Another 2 Astro photosLast night had a go at this region and spent an hour on this region, image is slightly cropped.
Just finished this one, taken also from last night and again 1 hour and a slight crop Last edited by Big V on Fri Jan 15, 2010 4:30 pm, edited 2 times in total.

Re: Another 2 Astro photosThanks all, yes I have a computer controlled telescope mount to find the objects but some of them are visible to the naked eye. The motors on the mount just make it quicker and easier to place the target in the field of view.

Re: Another 2 Astro photosThe first shot is my pick. I like the lower star density, but still the rich colour.
Looking at the full size version there is a bit of red noise, but I don't think you'd notice when printed. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm
