World's Greatest Shave - I'm doing it!

Postby Geoff on Tue Jan 19, 2010 9:38 pm

Hey all,
Haven't had a lot of time in general, even for the beloved forum.
However I have decided that I will be participating this year in The World's Greatest Shave.
Scared? Yes, I'm petrified but I know my hair will grow back.

Any other members interested in joining me in this 'journey'?

I'd like you to support me by making a secure online donation using your credit card.

Rooz - SHAVED to the skin, first with clippers, then with a normal beard razor. NO hair visible!

Thanks mate!
It's gonna be bloody awful, but I figure it will (eventually) grow back and it is for a good cause after all :)

And being a photo forum, you'd better show us your mop :biglaugh:

I'll lob in though - as I'm not game to shave my head, I'm too worried what the scar up there would look like in the light of day.

Oh - and watch for sunburn once you do it  according to a bald mate - it hurts, and also easy to break the skin if you knock it too......

I have done it - leaving a stubble. It is surprisingly 'liberating' (for want of a better word) getting rid of the mop and for a good cause as well. I will lay down some dosh for you, Geoff. Great cause.

Great responses guys! Wow, thanks so much for the donations thus far!! Incredible! I'm scared sh*tless but I know it will grow back...eventually.

Oh, and sorry, I won't be shaving anything below my neck. :)
