Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Norwegian panos I

In Norway I did lots of pano work (amongst other things of course). All of these are composites of between 6 and 8 hand-held frames taken on a moving ship. They're all geo-coded of course.

Image
EOS 7D, ISO 400, 24-105mm/4, 42Mp pano
Late Christmas morning in the Versterålen Islands, Norway.

EOS 5DmkII, ISO 6400, 50mm/1.8, 50Mp pano
near Øksfjord, Norway
Lit only by the light of the moon! Those are house lights in the lower left.

Image
EOS 7D, ISO 1600, 24-105mm/4, 58Mp pano
Approaching Risøyhamn, Norway

EOS 5DmkII, ISO 1600, 17-40mm/4
Leaving Ørnes, Norway
Can you see the Giant lying down in the mountain?

Beautiful work David!
Having been to Norway, and seen this for myself in real life I sense you've captured these fantastically well.
I will even post this thread to my good mate in Norway! Thanks for sharing, love them!
Are you selling these? PS - I can certainly see the giant!

These are pretty cool Dave.
Your giant is pretty clear to me, very interesting to see actually.

Great shots and worthy of sale.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935.

I will be doing some print sales, but I need to be careful about which images are already licenced for that.
There'll be more panos coming soon...

Beautiful and pushing the limits indeed with ISO 6400 for a pano!

How are finding the ISO 1600 on the 7D? Have you printed any large prints out of it??
