Rare OpportunityToday whilst visiting the Adelaide Zoo I had the opportunity to photograph some of the wonderful work that goes on behind the scenes.
First was assisted raising of a squirrel monkey, 3 months old Next item for the day was to observe the white faced gibbon being given an ultra sound to check to see if she was pregnant which turned out to be negative Then it was off to look atthe first red kangaroo the zoo has ever raised Next door they were raising a yellow footed rock wallaby This was far more interesting than the pandas! Re: Rare Opportunitythe wallaby sure is a lot cuter than the roo !!

Re: Rare OpportunityVery very nice shots,
I'm a bit of a sucker for this kind of topic. And for the record I think the Roo was atleast equally as cute sa the wallaby!
Re: Rare OpportunityThe roo and wallaby are both gorgeous - I want one of each!! Monkeys are just evil.
Seriously though, great to see some behind the scenes photos. I'll try to be a bit nicer, if you try to be a bit smarter.
