So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Rare Opportunity
Today whilst visiting the Adelaide Zoo I had the opportunity to photograph some of the wonderful work that goes on behind the scenes.
First was assisted raising of a squirrel monkey, 3 months old  Next item for the day was to observe the white faced gibbon being given an ultra sound to check to see if she was pregnant which turned out to be negative  Then it was off to look atthe first red kangaroo the zoo has ever raised  Next door they were raising a yellow footed rock wallaby  This was far more interesting than the pandas! I'm a bit of a sucker for this kind of topic. And for the record I think the Roo was atleast equally as cute sa the wallaby!

The roo and wallaby are both gorgeous - I want one of each!! Monkeys are just evil.
Seriously though, great to see some behind the scenes photos. I'll try to be a bit nicer, if you try to be a bit smarter.
