Sydney Blues FestivalMarjie Curran (Marjie Curran Band). James Southwell Band. Rob Hirst (Backsliders) There are more of them here, 29 in all though only an overview at this stage. I'll populate the folders in due course but that will take a couple of months.
Re: Sydney Blues FestivalMurray, looks like the lighting was hard work there, some very dominant red colours! Nonetheless, the second one is one I quite like for the dynamic scene, reminds me more a punk rock band going for it hammer and tongs!
After having a look at the other images I really like the one of Buddy Knox and Louis King, the Louis King one has a great feel to it (love the black background and isolation of the subject) and could well have been produced in a studio! gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Sydney Blues FestivalThanks, Gerry
I remember someone commenting on the dominant red lighting. Thredbo's probably even worse. The only blues festival I regularly go to with good lighting is Narooma (soon to become Bateman's Bay). Sometimes, though, simple sparse lighting can work out well.
