Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Hi all, Havent posted up anything new in aaaages.. so heres a recent EVO IX shoot that i did for a friend. this is the raw file :  and this is the editing / processed version  decal wise, i tried. LOL the side is concealed rather well in my opinion, but i love the color change, worked out to be really well done. let me know your opinions. ( also, dont mind the edited version's black area... theres hints of the lightpaint for some reason when i post it to web, but original isnt there when i open in CS4.. anyone know anything about that? )

I'm not sure why, maybe it's the lighting, but they look like CGI to me. Especially the PP'd shot. Reminds me of Gran Turismo or something like that.

'VR' ?? methinks with those wheels and shocks it would be VI (vibration Increase)  bit like driving around on rubber bands... jokes aside, I like the PP version, not sure about the text etc but the lighting has been improved - the biggest downer on these is lack of light on the top of the car, when light painting cars you really have to keep that light applied up higher on the car for much longer then on say, the front bumper to get a nice even light over the whole car. Nontheless the end version looks nice!

That is some neat piece of PP. I really like the results considering your initial shot! How long did you take to do this?
Don't forget to expose one shot for the roof, one for the wheels and one for the rest next time. You will save alot time with PP.

Thanks for the tip Surenj, I'll try to make a seperate image with the rear exposed moreso next time for PP, PP didnt take long. Minus the long amount of time searching my Harddrive for the Nikon branding, and stripes.. the red tick was a shape i transformed ( influenced by nikon's red tick on the grip) All in all, i do like it, maybe the headlight was a bit oversharpened.. but wait till you see my canon evo  I'll post one up as a new image. =D

I actually take this as a very high compliment LOL making it almost surreal is something i've tried to do but never done so before, now that i'm not trying, its becoming like that.. LOL
