just brought a d70. how do u take black and white pictures?this question might sound dumb. how do u set the camera to take black and white pictures or do u just do on photoshop later?

the d70 does not have a b&w setting... just post process in photoshop or another manipulation program...

Actually you can set it to BW... Just load in a custom curve!

Could you use a B&W filter?
Seriously though...a good question from a new D70 owner. Most image software programs will allow you to convert to black and white. In Photoshop use DESATURATE and you can control the precise amount of colour you want to dial out. If you have any problems then PM me and I'll send you further information.
