2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sDespite the weather today we braved on with the planned 2x2. A good time was had by all and I dont think anyone would complain about having lunch at Moo.
Here are a few images of Frangipanni's that seemed to stalk me through the day. Comments and critique is most welcome. The frangipanni that started it off another frangipanni the 2nd frangipanni has followed me! Cameron

Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sCameron,
I really like the second of these. The subtlety and softness of the frangipanni presents a wonderful contrast against the rough texture of the sand. g.

Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni's#2 for me as well cameron
I think #1 is better with a crop just below the flower--about 20mm to remove distraction from below #3 not sure of what you wanted/expected from this seemingly "plastic" backround But #2 really works--well done Jim
Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sI always thought you were a flower man Cameron - top stuff on the Frangipanni's, the second one is very nice, a balanced image with good textures and tones

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sThe second one is very nice indeed! Love your composition and textures.
Only thing I could suggest would be to clone out the lower left distraction and sharpen to bring out the texture. You have used the soft light well.
Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sCameron 1 out of 3 isn't bad
#2 is just sublime Peter

Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sThe second one! However, can you fix the lower
left corner? I find it distracting because it is different to the others and it is a break on the sand pattern. I like the colours and the patterns on the sand.
Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sThanks for the comments, I have to admit that there is more that I can do with #1, but here is a revised version of #2 (which is my fav)

Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'slove shot 2 and 3, amazing how nice the flower looked after that period of time from finding it to shooting it! fantastic work, another great idea well executed in my books!!

Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sSooo much better!
Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sNoice work Cameron.
As it looks a little washed out on my uncalibrated screen, I would suggest that you take it to zimprints and get the guy to show it you on his calibrated screen. This way, you could make further contrast adjustments and sharpening (which I believe is needed).
Re: 2x2 Bondi to Coogee - Frangipanni'sLove the frangipanni shots ... although I must agree #2 is my fav.
