TravelingEver looked up in the sky and wondered where all those people were going? Who is on holidays, who is going home for a funeral, a birth, a wedding?

Yes, I've definitely done that before... I've also done the same thing from the plane - looked down and wondered what it must be like down there, wherever it may be...
Interesting shot - the metal structure makes a good frame and adds to the overall picture (a straight shot of the jet trail against the sky might've been a bit boring). If I was to be critical, I'd say the colour of the sky seems a bit too cyan coloured / not totally natural. Did you increase the saturation on this shot? Cheers, Stephen
No for this one I did not (as against the one in my other thread)
It was a brilliant blue day today in Canberra so that sky is not far from the truth... Yes it is a bit to cyan... it actually was a darker colour.. And yes, it was the frame that made me take the pic, as the upper atmosphere was so cold today (as was it down at ground, 5.5c at 8am!) all the jets were leaving brilliant contrails... New page

Fair enough - I know you can get some interesting colours in the sky at different times of the year and with different temperatures (not to mention with a polariser).
Man, I could've done with some of that cold weather you're having - I was out playing hockey today and it was around 35 degrees with high humidity... I almost died... Cheers, Stephen
Well composed shot MHD but I think you are wrong about being a plane, it looks like a cruise missile to me
I agree with your thoughts, but I even do it with people I see in the street. I wonder where they are going, where they have been, if they are happy or sad etc., a fascinating mind though process Chris

Today was a nice day for philosophy..
Today was one of those days I was very happy so many people have a low opinion of Canberra New page
