ello ello!

Postby natskis on Tue Feb 16, 2010 2:59 pm

Hi All,

I haven't posted (or pretty much picked up my camera) since early 2009.

Recently, my mate from work got me energised and enthused again :)
Just wanted to swing by and say "hi everyone" :)

Will be trying to read over as much stuff as I can and hope to see some of you out on some excursions if possible :)

HAHA Yes, I shoot canon. My trusty ole' 400D
Still shoots great pics! (at least to my eye :) )

When I started, my best mate shot canon so it made sense to go canon to borrow gear from him :)

Now he's in London and I feel lonley around the Nikon shooters!

"Don't let the bastards grind you down."

The 400D is still a fine camera, although for specialised uses there are better cameras. If you're looking to improve your photography, your skill is the prime factor. If you do get dragged into worrying about technical details, then areas such as lenses, tripods and flashes would probably be more important than the body.

Thanks Dave :)

So far I haven't managed to push my photography to the stage where I thought that i'm limited by the body.
Aside from drooling at people who can pump 1 billion-kabillion stupid levels of iso, She's still taking some nice pics.

I have so much Glass, lighting and LEARNING to get /do before I think about getting a different body :)
