Have anyone seen this before?

This teleconverter for Canon C-8 movie (1.4x 67)

I picked one up this morning from the Sunday market for five bucks and like new, it's 67mm thread and comes with a stepup ring Canon 62-67, brought home and put on my 70-210/ f.4-5.6, AF works on both my D2h and D100.
Haven't got time to try it yet but I will, it will fit on to the kit lens 18-70 nicely without the step up ring. Don't know what's the outcome.

Birdie - you'll have to organise a D70users outing to these markets of yours!

Looks refreshingly different... must be the Schweppervescence? :? I think I'll stick with Coke. ;)

I have a 52 mm one of these for my A80, however it only works well at the telephoto end; distortion at the wide end.

It works on both ends, with the 70-210 at the 70 and 210, can be used as macro, did not see any distortion at the 70. I don't have the 18-70 and only lens I have with 62mm is the 70-210, nothing in 67mm so I can't comment, wait till the week end at the mini meet, I'll ask someone with the 18-70 lens to try it and will tell.
At the 210, it produces the sharpness and clarity of the 210 as usual, see the difference with and without the Canon C-8.
I perhaps won't use it much, just like to have fun and keep it as collectible item.

Would you like me to drop over mine?
