POTW 2nd March 2010

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. POTW 2nd March 2010

Postby sirhc55 on Mon Mar 01, 2010 9:53 pm

As we all see, from week to week, there are some extremely talented photographers on this forum.

To make a POTW choice has become harder over the years and I must convey my admiration to Theo, Rel, Bindi and many others for their exemplary work.

However, I have chosen for this weeks POTW a marvellous landscape that is so full of life. From the prolification of colours through to the numerous focal points within the photo. Landscapes do not normally hold my attention, but this photo by Rooz (Chris) did, and I congratulate him on both the photo and his talent.

Nice choice. I find myself wandering around the whole picture as there are some many beautiful elements to look at.

thanks all and thanks chris.
appreciate the feedback. :)

there is bit i got wrong in this shot. the droplets on front of filter is probably understandable, (but frustrating), given it was drizzling and i was getting wet but the cropping of the trees to the top left is just unforgivable and colossoly stupid.

Nah, I don't think it makes any difference. Sensational image, and well deserved POTW.
