Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

One would think that Sydney..
would have put on better weather for my visit last weekend.. *sigh*.. the light was terrible and I only had two nights and a day there to catch up with friends.. see the George Michael concert (shut-it!).. and take some images.. I gave up in disgust after a few so this is what I ended up with..
I'm almost ashamed to show this one after seeing all the other gorgeous ones that forum members have posted..  I stayed at the Blue (at Wooloomoloo).. and can highly recommend it for other visitors to Sydney..   Where is a nice sunny day when one wants one?    Oh well togging is out I might as well hit the shops..   The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...

Not only are you to blame for the traffic mess that occurred on Friday, but with most of those photos, you were within a few hundred meters of where I would have been when they were made.
And you didn't call! Probably because you knew that I would have talked you out of the GeorgeBloodyMichael concert and convinced you to go and see Kennedy at the SOH instead! g.

I think the overcast sky works well with these images. Especially the first one.

Sue, it is nice to see Sydney shots not under a blue sky. Nice treatment of the images. How was George Michael?
