Re: Point Cook (Vic) Air Pageant 28/2/2010FFF I left before the sabre...had been there all day so was sunburnt and sore lol...
U got a few nice focused shots there...I'm happy to hear I wasn't the only one having probs... My lens just didn't want to focus in the light. And upon entering the C130-H my GF decided to get her jumper out of my bag...she pushed aside my 50mm 1.8 thus extracting it out of the bag and onto the concrete....God Dam! Have you got any good ones of the DC3 or the Provost? Canon EOS 40D
Canon EOS 400D 50mm 1.8 EF

Re: Point Cook (Vic) Air Pageant 28/2/2010Hi, like the way you have kept a little movement on the props ,done well with exposure considering the glare -you could always PS the backgrounds or crop in really tight

Re: Point Cook (Vic) Air Pageant 28/2/2010Thanks for the positive feedback
Devine darkness got this one of the Provost Weather conditions are always a pain at Point Cook the amount of moisture/humidity and glare really makes it difficult for any lens to focus consistently, i had some friends with good cannon lenses up to 800mm and they suffered worse than me as they were attempting to focus further out into the murk, i was using two camera bodies a D3 and D700 with 200-400 and 70-200 and i was able to get a few more keepers as i was effectively shooting a lot closer to the subject as it came by, well thats my assumption anyway Such is life behind the lens Nikon boy Norman
