Re: Sweet Corn Fritters with Smoked SalmonFoods just not that easy to shoot but you've done very well, salmon looks nice and fresh , interesting colors and textures and the second is nicely blurred in the background - looks yummy

Re: Sweet Corn Fritters with Smoked SalmonI can't help but think there needs to be a little more detail in the garnish. Otherwise well done.

Re: Sweet Corn Fritters with Smoked Salmon
Agreed - and thanks for showing interest. I noticed the food left on the table after my wife had had a couple of ladies for morning tea. The dill was probably a bit limp at that stage but I wanted to try for the first time my new zeiss Makro planar 100 f2 and a white balance "Lally cap". I would have given more emphasis to the setup and detail should I have had a specific purpose for the image other than to test these two items. Thanks again. Bob

Re: Sweet Corn Fritters with Smoked SalmonNicely done, Bob.
I like the lighting and the DoF. I am not sure about the lace in the foreground, I think it steals some of the attention. Alex
