Re: Vivid WellingtonWhat the?
Ok... Explain! What's with the giant suspended ball? Is that shadow from the ball? It looks in an odd spot! What's with the spots? Is that like the vivid festival in sydney where they lit up buildings with projected light?
Re: Vivid WellingtonIll try
I dunno with the ball, its public art I guess It is the shadow I dunno re the dots, I thinks its part of an arts festival promotion Darren

Re: Vivid WellingtonHow cool is that?!
I love how you have the ball's shadow in the foregound. And the clouds are magnificent. I probably would walk past this and wonder what the hell they were thinking. But you have captured it well and in such a way that I like it! A quirky photo that I'm sure will be a conversation starter.... I'll try to be a bit nicer, if you try to be a bit smarter.
Re: Vivid WellingtonHow on earth did they suspend the ball up there though?
I can't see any rope or wires.
Re: Vivid WellingtonDarren
Bloody awesome image. It's got great colours, but more importantly it has that WTF factor Made better by including the shadow so we don't just think it's been cloned in. Peter

Re: Vivid Wellington
4 wires, look closely at the shot and you can see some telltale clone lines - in particular heading from the ball past the LH flag pole and to the RH towards the Aircon fan thingy on the top of the building.. is this related to the Vivid Sydney thing? gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Vivid WellingtonYes. A VERY dodgy cloning effort that, lol.
I dont think it's related to Vivid Sydney at all, more the arts festival in Wellington (i need to tidy up the sky a bit yet) Darren
