:agree:

Thank you very much Gerry, Callan and Gerry's partner whose name I have forgotten already.

gstark wrote:The images ... simply stunning. Callan does great work, and the images looked simply spectacular, with a few of them looking more like paintings than photographs.

Indeed. Some looked so much better as huge canvases than they did with a browser. Which just goes to show that big prints can be a great idea.

We left early, but I think most others stayed on, with perhaps several retiring to the Korean BBQ next door. I'd already had my fill of opening-night sushi ... and now I have some radio prep to do.

Philo did take a few with my camera, i will be posting them shortly.

Korean next door was very good, cooked over charcoal not on gas like so many other places, but they had this funny habit of continually changing our grill, and decided that we were unable to cook for ourselves....which was a bit of a downer.

HUGE thanks to Callan for hosting the exhibition and Gerry for all the hard work put in!!

Tom's Matterhorn looked amazing on the wall, as did your Tiger, Cathy!

You really have to thank Philo for the photos, I dont think any of us wanted to take any so I gave my camera to Philo.

Cheers

Allow me to join the plethora of thanks to BigGerry, & other half (My memory is almost as good as ATJ's  ) and to Callan.
It was great to see the big prints. I was interested to note that some were better bigger. Others seemed to lose something. Not sure why.

Also congratualtions to David for a brilliant photo.

Unfortunately I did not make it to Sydney last night but the photos allow me to see what I missed.

Also a big thanks the Gerry and Callan for the great work they have done in getting the exibition up and running. It is good to see those who attended enjoyed the evening.

Not to sound too much like a broken record, but thanks to Callan and Gerry for organising this and the printing. It's a really cool think to be part of! Also thanks to Sarah for the wonderful catering, I enjoyed it as much as the images!

Also thanks to whoever bought a cat carrier full of cupcakes.
OK, so it wasn't a cat carrier but there was some concensus it could be used to efficiently take care of a feline.
