Octopussy (NWS)this is my first glamour shoot with a busty model
i found it harder than fashion but it could just be because its my first try 28-70 on my newly fixed D3 theme dances around model in a flight of fancy with octopusses coming along for the ride thinking about it now i should of shot her naked, next time one natural Last edited by wendellt on Wed Mar 24, 2010 11:28 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Octopussy (NWS)lol, I think busty is an understatement Wendell. But to be fair you've achieved your usually level high level of piazza (spelling)** and some creatively thinking and stylistic approach are right up there. I do tend to agree that naked might be an improvement, but then again I'm male so maybe I'm a tad biased.
My favorite in this set is the third, great balance between shadow and light, love the octopie placement and the models pose. **
Re: Octopussy (NWS)
My only observation/comment would be that the water reflections on Laurena's left arm and thigh in the first shot make it look a bit like old lady skin (not that there's anything wrong with that on old ladies). Greg - - - - D200 etc

Re: Octopussy (NWS)i'm just constantly stunned by how goddam good you are. the last 2 gave me goosebumps, and thats not cos its a gorgeous woman. its just that to me, they are THAT good. i'd love to go on a shoot with you to see how you do. i reckon i'd learn more off you in a day than i could learn in a year on my own.

Re: Octopussy (NWS)
Wendell that second last (4th) image is stunning... the contrast between the white top, the model and the octupus really does it for me. Greating framing there too, you have chopped off her arm but the fact that is fades into darkness makes it all good... The whole series are are excellent and do like the style and lighting choice, was this with a reflector and single flash?
time for a WW. methinks.. (Wendell Workshop) So what did you do with the octopie afterwards? fry up? gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Octopussy (NWS)Hi guys
thanks alot for the comments ill fix the legs in the 1st image everyone is welcome to assist on the next shoot but my schedule is pretty last minute so i can only give out last minute notice all of them were shot in available light i just positioned the model where the light was interesting and given it was a beautiful sunset that added to it Wendell Levi Teodoro

Re: Octopussy (NWS)
I don't know. I'm not sure how a naked Wendell would have helped these images. g.

Re: Octopussy (NWS)Love the processing in these. You should have started shooting glamour earlier me thinks!!!

Re: Octopussy (NWS)Wendell,
The last of this set is a nicely composed classic style... not sure about the others in terms of both composition or processing but maybe that's just me... it's always good to experiment no matter what the outcome and what others think! Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?
Re: Octopussy (NWS)Very nice Wendell, very nice indeed. Next time, definitely tell her to get her kit off!
What location was this? Good stuff as always mate. Geoff

Re: Octopussy (NWS)Well shot Wendell...
There are whole branches and subcultures of the fetish world that these shots will appeal to - an interesting mix of subjects... Cheers, John
