My current rideHere is my current two wheel transport, a little tame at 800cc after the last 2.3 litre beast. But as always great fun.....

Re: My current rideShe looks beautiful, although I find that the background in #1 is bit too distracting and she gets a bit lost in it, do you have a colour version?
#2 is a bit too contrasty for my liking, but this is a personal opinion. I would love to see more pics though! Cameron

Re: My current ride1#. Geoff this background is a great choice. I just wish that there was better seperation between the great subject and the background.
Love the 2nd!
Re: My current ride#1 in addition to the business of the background competing with the bike, it looks to me as though you have focused on the trees rather than the bike (Don't you just love AF?)
Assuming you can reshoot, perhaps open the shutter a little more to throw the background more firmly OOF #2 I like. Maybe clean up some of the blemishes on the tyre. Greg
It's easy to be good... when there is nothing else to do
Re: My current rideThanks guys for your feedback.
The background would have been better with greater seperation, I agree. I was shooting at f8 on the siggy 10-20 so to throw the b/g out of focus is going to be a tall order with this lens even at maximum aperture. Not so sure about the focus on the b/g rather than the bike, AF was used but the focus point was selected for the fuel tank area of the bike. It does look a bit soft here maybe due to save for web options?? Here is a colour version of the first, same crop etc, except this has not had any local brush adjustments done as was the case in the B&W version. (exposure adjustment to selected parts of the bike and a clarity reduction on the b/g!) Fuji X-Pro1 | X-E1 | X-T1 | XF14 | XF23 | XF27 | XF35 | XF56 | XF60 | XF10-24 | XF18-55 | XF55-200 | MCEX-11

Re: My current rideThe colour version of this screams for a conversion to black and white....but it really does need more DOF isolation around the bike. Using a 10-20 would make this rather difficult.
Thanks for sharing the colour version. Cameron
