Re: Busker in the skyINteresting shot Wendell, this was at circular quay right? the dude with the tallest monocycle? Looks like he has branched out.
I like the shillouette and star effect but the overpass in the background i am no so keen on.. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Busker in the skyGreat shot.
I don't mind the overpass so much but I would maybe just crop in from the right a little to get rid of the fall-off in light and to move the start effect slightly more to the right. just some thoughts.
Re: Busker in the skyHey Wendellt!
Great capture =) You're really loving these 8point star filters lately aren't you? Canon | Sony | Panasonic | Tamron | Sigma
My photography is still developing. Don't be so negative! http://www.photomarcs.com
Re: Busker in the skyI think this would be another classic 'Wendell'. Lose that star though. It's distracting.
Can you divulge how you process your skies? I am guessing desaturating the blue channel??
Re: Busker in the skycome to think of it the star is distracting
just found an opp to shoot contre jourr with the star filter for this one there isnt any post processing i think my white balance was around 4900K hence the sky has a look of a slight desatiuration of blue and the rest is just the high shutterspeed thanks for the comments all Wendell Levi Teodoro
