2X2 Ku-ring-gai Spectacular SceneryThanks once again to Peter for organising the day.
This was the scene that presented itself right at the start of the walk..just magnificent Lion Island Barrenjoey Lighthouse Track was testing for some
Re: 2X2 Ku-ring-gai Spectacular SceneryRay, you must a had a pocket full of sunshine and blue sky. top stuff...
great use of the trees + people to frame the shots, certianly looks better than my dull grey versions! gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: 2X2 Ku-ring-gai Spectacular SceneryI quite like these framings as well. Especially in the 2nd.
Is that a lighthouse in the 3rd? Those steps look tough especially if there were many of them...
Re: 2X2 Ku-ring-gai Spectacular Scenery
Thought when we visited in the morning that the location would be better lit in the afternoon. So revisited on the way home. Was worth it

Re: 2X2 Ku-ring-gai Spectacular SceneryI'm a big fan of number 2, I really like the way you have framed it up with the trees.
Re: 2X2 Ku-ring-gai Spectacular SceneryNow I wish I'd come down with you when I left. You have much better lighting and colour than anything I achieved.
Re: 2X2 Ku-ring-gai Spectacular Scenery
If this is taken from where I think it was, that would be Barranjoey lighthouse, and the island to its left would be Lion Island. Not a Sydneysider though, and I haven't been to the area for an awful long time so could be wrong - family used to do the Halvo cruiser thing from Bobbin Head for holidays. Michael

That's what the caption says. Are you doubting it?
