finally the courage to post!Hello all,
well no doubt most of you can recall I had a very busy month last month with so many weddings on. Well i've finished editing the photos and i am really happy with the shots i achieved from the day, and no doubt the bride and groom will be when the album / photobook arrives in the next few days. All in all i achieved well and truly more then 80 great pleasing shots. I'm about to post a few that i really liked from the day, CC most welcome as I hope to one day do another wedding and if i can improve i would love to! Thanks to Jenno for all his help and advice, without him and the forum I can't say for sure it would have been as sucessful as it was. Hope you enjoy the shots, i will split the post and post a few more in another post, so it wont take too long for shots to be downloaded. Re: finally the courage to post!i love the ethereal look of the shots
the composition of the last one is great it really shows a sense of intimacy between photographer and subject are you using a softening filter or photoshopping in the glow Wendell Levi Teodoro

Re: finally the courage to post! All three look great Kristen but the white balance looks a little off to me, especially in the last one.
Re: finally the courage to post! That last one is great imo, as Andrew mentioned the WB might be a tad off, but the great composition and intimacy bewteen the two in that scene will make up for any technical error!
well done. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: finally the courage to post!Im with ATJ and Bigerry!
I really like the last one! Great use of soft focus in this set, gives the photos a different look Cameron

Re: finally the courage to post!...see..told you they were good
Re: finally the courage to post! Thanks everyone for your comments, I really liked number 3 a lot, is was actually one of the last shots of the afternoon and the sun was right behind them which gave them that glow, i then in pp added the soft focus which i think finished it off. It wasn't a shot i've ever tried before, i just noticed the breeze pickup and asked if the groom if he could jump under the veil with his new wife and i'd pop a few shots off, they were the perfect couple to do a wedding for, they were so relaxed and they and their bridal party did everything they were asked and we had a great time.
But thanks for all the kind words and the encouragement, coming from all my old posts to these shots theres a massive difference and all the advice that was given to me over the last few years has aided me in so many ways. Re: finally the courage to post!#3 is absolutely primo as already mentioned.
#2: Do you need to have the perfume bottle? I would be keen to see a shot without it to see whether it improves attention to the subject matter (which I assume is the shoe and flowers?)
