Re: Tri FluxReally enjoyed these, especially the third one... I think the more natural the pose the better the effect...

Re: Tri FluxWendell, if you had not posted them setup shots I would have had no idea how you did that!
Very nice concept and I am sure we will see some more awesome shots from that rig. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Tri FluxCreative genius.
When you are actually shooting, how close is the beauty dish to the subject?
Re: Tri Fluxi set my beauty dish 2 metres away from subject
but in this case its just fill so the dish distance doesn't affect the image looks Wendell Levi Teodoro

Re: Tri FluxThanks for your quick reply Wendell.
So basically at the entrance to the tunnel? I am struggling to understand the really soft light coming from the front. Is this because the dish is bouncing off all the three persplex walls? I wouldn't have thought the dish would produce this sort of light if you didn't have enough bounce. although I realise it's a large dish and maybe behave like a more concentrated softbox at that distance? thoughts?
Re: Tri FluxHey Wendell, kinda off topic.. but where would one find such a warehouse space?

My photography is still developing. Don't be so negative! http://www.photomarcs.com
Re: Tri Fluxi have a piece of nylon on the dish to soften the light more
also the fact that the fill light is bouncing around all 3 sides of the triangle is what makes the light look soft too photomarcs i borrowed this space from a fashion company usually most of them are in surry hills or alexandria if you do them favours you can negotiate to use their space, i find it better than using a real studio which is expensive Wendell Levi Teodoro
