Sigma 2x teleconverter

Postby cordy on Mon Mar 07, 2005 3:33 pm

Hi All,

Im on the hunt for one of the above, need to add it to my sigma 70-200 EX HSM lense :D

Are there any *cheap* shops in Oz for this? Or am i better off getting this from overseas?

I really need to get my hands on one by the end of next week too but reading stuff about importing (if i decided to go that way) i cant see that being a problem.

Thanks

Re: 2x EX APO Teleconverter for Nikon AF-I & AF-D

Try this website in USA:

and use 'USPS - Global Express Mail 5-7 Days Delivery. Approximate shipping cost US$40.

Hiya, yeh i think you can get the kenko pro 300 TC as well and think Vanbar might have 1 or 2 of them, and i know digital rev on ebay has them for around $200. But i have never got anything from them but others have and i will be intending on gettin 1 myself for the sigma lens i plan to get the same as you have.
Cheers

cordy,

RE: 70-200mm F2.8 EX HSM

APO Tele-Converter EX (optional)

High-speed focusing is possible when this lens is used with dedicated APO EX tele-converters (1.4x and 2x). With APO EX tele-converter 1.4x EX, it works as an AF tele-zoom lens from 98mm to 340mm F4. With APO EX tele-converter 2x EX, it works as an AF tele-zoom lens from 140mm to 400mm F5.6.
It is also possible to use AE (Automatic Exposure) function, when EX Tele-converters are attached.

Ta ta for now,
