Whilst KayakingLove this time of year when we have our three day Kayaking trip..All of these were shot with the 400mm and a 1.4x on it.
Flick of water This is why I love sport - the emotions! Lots of bird life on the river to watch Canon
Re: Whilst KayakingA couple of great expressions , you can almost read what they are thinking - gee that water looks cold !
Really like the interaction with the birds and the crane shot has a very nice feel with the color and softlight - yet still sharp as. DebT DebT

Re: Whilst KayakingGreat pictures! I like the expressions and the colour.
I also like the action shots of the birds. If I had to pick the best of the collection it would be 2 and 3 for me.
Re: Whilst Kayakingyou never cease to amaze me with your technical brilliance
the bird shot is a stunner Wendell Levi Teodoro

Re: Whilst KayakingIf you have enough resolution, I would crop down the last one considerably. Show us their faces and eyes. Superb capture.
Re: Whilst KayakingGreat shots as always. I agree about cropping the last one.
Number 3 is my pick. An excellent shot, but it needs to be seen big. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

Re: Whilst KayakingGreat pics, but I want to know what the guy in #2 sees in the bottom of the kayak?
Re: Whilst Kayaking#2 for me, it brings back memories... although I do wonder where his spray skirt is!
#1 I liked, but without the title it has no context. D90 | D50 | Tamron 17-50 2.8| AF-S 18-55 DX (and VR) | Sigma 70 - 300 APO DG | 50mm 1.8 | SB-600
Re: Whilst Kayaking
both bird shots are great, the other two capture action and motion very nicely..top stuff. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Whilst KayakingNo spray skirt because it was the end of the day and they had decided to try and stand on their kayaks and use them as long boards..
