Every time I think I'm getting good I see your work and drop back about 100 notches Ducks 9 and 13 are great, but duck 16 is awesome. One (duck14) is a little blurry around the head if I can be picky A lot of the shots are a great example of what a fast shutter speed can deliver. Peter

Beautiful shots, Matt. Nice work.
I love that softly lit place you found them in. I guess I haven't hung around here long enough to burn out on ducks yet.
Re: have you seen duckling ?
Christian - how could you. All in one spot. Hope the thought police don't catch onto this duck thing and stop us. Great shot. Peter

That is many ducks Matt. Did you notice on 40530101 that it looks like a face on the bill?
They are great shots Matt. Many years ago, Melbourne had an afternoon paper - The Herald. There was a story on the front page that caused me to laugh out loud on the train. A prisoner had escaped from Pentridge. The police gave chase across nearby fields, but the prisoner got away. In explaining the situation, the police spokesman said that the officer nearest the escapee had fallen into a small hole. The officers following thought he had yelled out "duck", so they hit the dirt. By the time they got up, their quarry had escaped. Absolute true story - front page of the Herald. Greg - - - - D200 etc

Greg....Priceless. Imagine how difficult it would have been to keep a straight face and tell that to your superiors. Only someone working for the government could do it. (In fact, they do it all the time).
Hlop...Thanks. Ducks are not to difficult. Foxes are difficult. Regards

Peking (Bejing) Duck ...Matt. K,
I 'm raising it to become Peking duck ! Yummy !!! Hmhhh ... (no ...) No, I wouldn't do that and I hope no one else ist going to. It was just a little cutie at the Royal Canberra Show. CD

80-200 F/2.8 Had a tough time cracking the focus with some of these and had to switch to manual. I rather like the duck that is out of focus or movement blurred, but hesitated to post it. Artistic integrity won out! Regards
