My 3 year olds attempt at photography!

Well whilst i've been busy cleaning today my son who is only 3 years old found my eldest daughters little compact digital camera. He decided to wonder taking a lot of photos. As i began to go through them there was numerous shots that stood out but this one in particular got my attention. Unique and to me interesting to look at! He had his shoes on the wrong feet which makes the shot more interesting to look at as well. I've also posted one I took of My eldest daughter, son and I on my daughters birthday, Not technically spectacular as i was holding my 3 yr old daughter back from jumping on me at the same time as taking the photo, but I like it none the less! So not really after CC but i just wanted to share, should i begin to teach my son more about taking photo's or just let him go and see what he comes up with? O i also posted one more additional shot of my 3 kids, only a cheap camera so nothing spectacular! all are very soft focus, but i think lovely keep sake shots!

That first one isn't bad! I really like the 3rd pic - it is a lovely keepsake.

He's got a good eye. I'd just let him run with it!!

I can see why you posted these. Fabulous stuff there.
Definitely worth finding a place to do some poster prints for you.

Next time you have a social event, hand your son the camera and let him go for it. The perspective from 80cm is somewhat unique, and the expressions on the captured faces are often crackers...

thanks guys.

paul....yeah i might do that, giv him the camera that is at the next event.....not sure if i will let him touch my d200...a bit heavy i think!! i just found his shot amazing, around the light he placed his feet so evenly i must say very proud of him!!

i actually ordered a canvas of the 3rd shot, couldn't resist doing it. not very often my eldest daughter takes a nice photo since loosing all but one of her front teeth!!

I love it when children get their hands on a recording device. To see what they see is phenomenal! the capture, the timing, the way they feel is all expressed in the image. I find it a joy to look at these photos bigsarg!

Thanks Photomarcs! Appreciate your comment. I totally agree about what you were saying about kids getting their hands on recording devices, my eldest often uses our video camera and what she captures amazes me, moments that we don't think of recording and its a great keep sake for them to look back on later in life. We are so lucky to have digital media now days, back when I was a child i wasn't allowed near video cameras or cameras as they were film and too expensive to replace....or so i was told!!

I am glad you enjoyed sharing in these images photomarcs. I know i always enjoy seeing all of your works when you put it up! your recents works with wendelt were incredible!!
