Dark matterDark matter
First cab of the rank in a new series that I'm working on. Not sure if it's too dark as my laptop monitor is fairly cruddy. Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone

Re: Dark matterWayne,
You're clearly having way too much fun at the moment. I like this as it is, and I don't think that it's too dark. g.

Re: Dark matterI agree with Gary, I think it looks great as it is, on my screen that is! i like the hint of green at the top, a very moody shot, well executed!!

Geoff, the bottom left part is the face of a child who is being help by mother (whose back is towards us). They are entering the spirit world above....... Nice one Chris. Are the colors via snooted flash or by PP?
Re: Dark matterI think it is some ink suspended on a liquid possibly water
or something else with more viscosity. Whatever it is, it is certainly very intriguing and well done because you have captured its mystery and our imagination. I am now being pedantic, but because the thing itself has some colour to it and is floating on emptiness, I would rather baptise it with something like "Form in Space" , "The Shape of Thought" or "Evil Thought" because of its amorphous but sinuous nature.

Re: Dark matterThanks for the comments everyone. Looking at this on a different computer with a decent monitor, I'm actually not that happy with it. There's a lot of detail that's missing from the image which means a rework.

Re: Dark matterwayne I love it. its disturbing, almost painful, disgusting, ugly, grotesque, vomit inducing, but i cant look away, very intruiging!
Re: Dark matterAfter doing some work on the image I can only say - wow!
Parts of bodies including a hand plus what looks like a face behind a mask enclosed in a helmet - disturbing but brilliant. Chris
