Random new photosJust some resent shots. All comments are encouraged and appreciated. Thanks guys
Re: Random new photosPix 1 & 2 have lots of impact and loads of colour. They work beautifully for all the right reasons. Image #3 seems odd that the large boat in the rear seems out of focus because it has been digitally blurred. Something not quite right about it.

Re: Random new photosMatt has hit the nail on the head!
The first is very nice, definitely my favourite from this lot. The colour and impact just draws you in. Cameron

Random new photosLove both 1 & 2 -
The composition of the bee shot is lovely. It encourages you to look around the frame, and in doing so you notice the great dof and details such as the water droplets - not to mention the sharpness of the bee itself. The beach shot makes great use of lines and balance in it's composition to engage the viewer and keep your attention. Colour is great too While I like the b&w of the third, I am also bothered by the focus effect highlighted by Matt - other than that, it is also a really nice picture. *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Re: Random new photosThat first one is very nice and sharp, great colours too. I would consider cropping out the OOF area on the top right and bring the bee, the main subject, more to the centre of the image.
The reddish sky on the second is interesting, but wow you got some cracking dustbunnies or something there! gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Random new photos#1 is excellent! The composition, color and bokeh is just perfect.
#2 however, I can see the hard grad filter edge and this bothers me a bit. Also the colors on the top are not really reflected in the bottom which makes it hard to believe. #3 is interesting treatment but may be better without the bottom blur. [keep the top blur though]
Re: Random new photos#1 is a standout as bees are notoriously hard to capture (with a camera that is... )
