Emergency luncheon minimeet - June 16

Postby gstark on Wed Jun 16, 2010 10:05 am

Any takers for doing something in the city at lunch today?

I want to put the D3s through its paces, and I'll be around the Quay.

I'm thinking around midday, somewhere out the front of the MCA?

Dunno.

Maybe grab a sandwich ... or perhaps City Extra. or maybe the pub next to Maccas, on the corner of Pitt St?

It was a pleasant afternoon.

Leigh and I are planning an interesting weekend, and we should have some results to show hopefully Sunday.

Up for review at the moment we have a Mk IV and the D3s, each with their respective 70-200 lenses. We'll be putting these directly against one another.

I also have an Olympus E-PL1 and a Sony NEX-3, and I think Leigh still has the Samsung, so we can do some meaningful comparisons there as well.
