Re: RehearsalsAbsolutely Brilliant! Inspirational reportage.
How did you get that star in the 2nd? Surely you are not using a smaller aperture in this lighting?
Re: Rehearsalsim not sure how i got the star im was using probably 2.8
it may have been the UV filter or just the nature of the light interacting with the angle of the lens thankyou Wendell Levi Teodoro

Re: RehearsalsWow- that's a technical term for "I wish I could get shots remotely as good as these." I love these. The camera position in number 2 and 3, the angles in 4, the look on the dancer in 1- they are all fantastic.
I'm curious about the f stop as your DOF seems really big in 2-4 which means by my reckoning you were shooting at ISO 56million (or were things much brighter than I'm imagining?). Were all these hand held and as spontaneous as they look to be? Fantastic. Ian
Re: RehearsalsGreat shots, I really like the expression on the face of the dancer in the first one.
The DOF in 2 and 3 is really impressive as well. Craig

Re: RehearsalsI'm really digging how your photo documenting this. I like the fact that your nice and close to the action and using a perspective/level where it feels like we are there with them.
Re: Rehearsalshi ian
im sure i shot most at f2.8 the dof may seem deep because these images are scaled down in the full size version the focus is shallow on the subject that's in focus the light was low but not that bad i think i was iso2500 thanks everyone for the comments, its much appreciated Wendell Levi Teodoro
