The Duyfken in CairnsI took this picture with an instant Olympus SP570UZ in JPG
with no tripod or flash with a focal Length 86 mm and 64 ISO. Consequently the final image ended up being soft, but I still like it so I decided to do this:
Re: The Duyfken in CairnsFwoar. I personally love this !
Great capture from an Olympus superzoom I have to say.. this is truely amazing in my opinion, I love the arty overlay... usually I'm not a fan of it as it is "overused the wrong way" but here it's perfectly fitted, the ship even looks like it's stationery ON LAND! *baffles mind* Great work! Re: The Duyfken in CairnsLooks like a clever way to rescue a pic which didn't stand up to your scrutiny.
Well done. Bob

Re: The Duyfken in CairnsI wouldn't mind seeing a crop of the bottom third, where the water changes texture.

Re: The Duyfken in CairnsThank you for the comments guys, this is a reduced size of the
original nothing done to it except that I save it for the web to a manageable size.
Re: The Duyfken in Cairns
beat me to it Phillip.
I agree, its a real art to know when to apply filters overlays or whatever these thingy-m-bobs are, and you have nailed it on this occasion. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: The Duyfken in CairnsGreat use of a filter to fix an image that I would have thrown away!
